FeisPix is a long-established family-run photography venture specialising in Irish dancing images taken at feiseanna (competitions) and major championships (Oireachtais and National and International championships). Its principal photographers are UK Surrey-based husband and wife team, John and Noreen Egan.
Irishman John Egan, with over 40 years experience in photography, has been involved in a range of photography and related fields including sports, portraiture, schools, weddings, social events, travel and journalism. He is correspondent for Irish dancing in the weekly Irish Post newspaper (www.irishpost.co.uk), the biggest selling Irish interest newspaper in the UK. He also contributes to other newspapers in the UK, Ireland, USA and Australia. Now he specialises in Irish dance photography in which he has been involved for over 25 years.
For a number of years FeisPix has been chosen as sole official photographer at the World, All Ireland, Gt Britain, British National and All-Scotland Championships, as well as various oireachtais (world qualifying events) and feiseanna in the UK, Ireland and in mainland Europe.
Please be aware that there is only one FeisPix. It is UK-based. It is not franchised to others who might wish to imitate us. From time to time we receive enquiries from people about photos taken at an event that we have never been to. Our advice to customers is to ensure they are given a receipt that includes the contact details of the photographer concerned so as to avoid confusion and to facilitate follow-up in the case of queries. |
